Tom & Jerry - Solid Serenade
My all time favorite Tom & Jerry episode by far. Gotta love it when Tom chases the girl instead of Jerry sometimes. If you are looking for the song, like I've been doing, the original is by Louis Jordan. However, the song you hear in this particular episode is by Woody Herman titled Is you Is or Is You Ain't (Ma' Baby)? Enjoy your youth.

Thanks for including that helpful song info! There was another fragment of a memory I had of Tom & Jerry where Jerry was dancing with a girl mouse as part of a romantic evening - I think maybe on top of a building or something and maybe they have champagne in glasses bigger than them? I am wondering if this might ring any bells with you or if I might be remembering a scene from a different cartoon? Please let me know if you have any idea at all, thanks!
