Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist

I also picked up this netflix film a few nights ago. Two words: Bo Gus

Synopsis: A whooped guy meets shy strange girl. A few gay best friends and a drunk chick. Put them into a film that tries to hard to be indie and you get Infinite Playlist. Or should I say Shitlist. haha no seriously spend money elsewhere.

Vicky Christina Barcelona

I just got my netflix, I'm unemployed, and I'm chillin up late on a sunday night. Watch the movie, it's fantawesome!

Synopsis: Passionate painter, two American tourists, and an eccentric ex-wife. Put them in a blender and you get Vicky Christina Barcelona. Great Drama/Comedy. Or just call it a dramadey.

The Language of Chinese Hip Hop

This is a video by filmmakers Angela Steele and Lila Babb. Really dope insight on Hip Hop in China. This video in particular touches on the subject of Rap in the different dialects of China. It's a cool video. Hip Hop doing it big worldwide! Go to their Youtube site to check out more cool videos.

Banned Commercial Search

So I went onto youtube and did a small search on banned tv commercials. These are not my top picks but all do have something that tickles the mind.

Buying Used Undies is Wrong!

I saw this commercial on WierdAsianNews. The government is trying to crack down on the buying and selling of used school girl panties. Pervs beware!

Where the hell have I been?

Hard to start blogging again. A lot has changed in my life. I recently started seeing someone, I just got a promotion at work, I started traveling for dancing, I am slowly recovering from water deuce syndrome aka food poisoning, I am currently broke due to holiday shopping, my chest has become smaller because I stopped lifting heavy weights at the gym, I started wearing hats again full time, my knee is bugging me lately due to b-boying, I sold out and bought an iphone, and during my favorite time of the year (Halloween) I dressed up as Yellow Ranger. Hopefully, I will continue to keep checking my blog and posting when I am not super busy. In the meantime, check out this track by Nina Simone - Sinnerman. It's straight nasty!

Sweet and Lowdown

Great film by Woody Allen. The movie is about a fictitious jazz guitarist by the name of Emmett Ray. I watched this movie a while back and I still find myself popping in the soundtrack from time to time. The score is really timeless. And Sean Penn is amazing. Check it.
A scene where Emmett is low on funds. He joins a talent show contest.
This song is not in the movie, but Django does make appearances in the film as the greatest guitarist and Emmett's rival.
This is such a great song. Scene where Emmett plays for Hattie.
