The Nanking Massacre, commonly known as the Rape of Nanking, was an infamous genocidal war crime committed by the Japanese military in the capital of Nanjing, after it fell to the Imperial Japanese Army on December 13, 1937. Yesterday marked the 70th Anniversary of Nanjing. Today at work I was browsing around on facebook and came across a site. Curious, I clicked on the site and read a tragic tale of China's past. This is the first time I have ever heard of this story and I wanted to share with you what I have read and watched. There was a film on the site and I will post the links below. The Massacre of Nanking truly shows us how war can be gruesome and horrific. The video is not for the feign of heart. The images can be disturbing. Discretion is advised.

Now how are people going to deny, with hard evidence, that these atrocities never occurred. It is just sad to know that things such as this go unrecognized.
