Once

Good Movie! Umm. I really enjoyed this film. They say it's a musical, but it isn't the typical. The film resembles that of a long music video that you would see on MTV. Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova are magical on screen. Such a cool docu-drama-ish that had me coming back home wanting to get all the music he created. FYI the Frames is a great band.

The movie is your usual guy meets girl, guy falls in love with girl type film but with a little more realism in it. He plays the guitar in the streets of Dublin and basically she sees him playing, one night, and takes a liking to his music. He finds out that she also plays music so they start making music together. Simple as that.

If there was one thing about this film that would want me to watch it again would be for Glen Hansard playing his guitar. He is awesome to watch on screen. I heard from many fans that he is probably one of the greatest live front men to ever grace the stage. So if you're ever over in Europe or can catch him playing here in the States, do it. You won't regret it. HAHA I actually never seen him live but I can vouch for what I saw on youtube and on the screen. Enjoy!!
