Capsule

On Fridays I do jack shiz at work. HAHA

I was listening to some Perfume when I found out that their tracks were being produced by Capsule. Curious, I did a little research about them. Capsule is an electro pop group consisting of vocalist Toshiko Koshijima and producer Yasutaka Nakata. Apparently, they have been in the game for some time. I then did a quick search just to hear some of their music on youtube. It's pretty fantastic.
This is the electro stuff that I enjoy. Chill and not too loud where I go def. They haven't come out with anything new in sometime but the last album, from what I've personally listened to, is really good. Favorite tracks are "I'm Feeling You" and "Eternity". I will have the youtube links below. I recommend you guys checking them out, especially, if you like Perfume. Cool Beanz!!!

Capsule - Eternity

Capsule - I'm Feeling You (Sorry this is the only version I found on youtube.)

Lisa, It's Your Birthday!

So yeah, I just watched the episode of the Simpsons, "Stark Raving Dad", featuring Michael Jackson. And man I just remembered how cool this episode was. Enjoy the song performed by Kipp Lennon. That's right, under contract, Michael was not allowed to sing. So throughout the episode Michael would do the character's voice and Christopher "Kipp" Lennon did the singing. HAHA Either way, the song kicks much arse.

Perfume - Game

If a guy who likes listening to Perfume is considered a bitch, then so be it! Call me Bitch-the-Magnifico for all I care.

Perfume is, simply put, an electro and techno Jpop group. Now what you get are cutesy voices on top of these nice electro samples. RAD!!!! Think Janet Jackson's "Rock With U" single. The group is made up of three girls (Kashiyuka, Nocchi, and A~chan) from Hiroshima.

Opinion. I likes. However, I haven't heard the first album yet. So I can't say I'm a die hard fan or anything. I wouldn't even say I am a die hard fan at all. I just think that the music they are coming out with is very dance-able, which, in my book, is a good thing. Check out their new album, "Game", which drops on the 18th of April. TIGHT!!!

5 Year Old Korean Dancing Fiend!

Haha, what can I say. Work life has been hard. And I've been under the gun for a long two months. Hopefully I'll be able to post a few blogs each month if I'm lucky. Enjoy!

The Batsu Game

I know this is old but like some of us, I don't understand Japanese. This dude morizaemon, subbed this particular episode as well as other funny batsu games. Check his youtube profile when you can. There are three of them. The one at school (shown above), the one at the Inn, and the 24 hour tag. Funny and great and time consuming.

MeMe Tagged

Kayo at Osaka Life tagged me. So I'd better start typing. Plus I have a ton of free time.

Here are the Rules:
1. Link to the person’s blog who tagged you.
2. Post these rules on your blog.
3. List seven random and/or weird facts about yourself.
4. Tag seven random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by posting a comment on their blog. (Optional, apparently.)

My Seven Random Facts:

1. I love Horror Films. I've seen almost all there is to see. I try to take in all the good and the bad however, it really is a pet peeve of mine to be recommended a horror film that blows. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

2. I'm a bboy. I've been breakin' for about 15 years. Give or take a few years while at school.

3. I'm short. Honestly, it does suck to be short. Especially because you lose out on all the girls that are taller then you. But, I think if you are still able to attract women, then you'll be alright. So for all you short guys out there, it's not so bad.

4. I won "best costume" at my current job dressed as Bruce Lee.

5. I don't think I'm an otaku even though I show some similar traits. I dressed up as Duck King (KoF) once at AnimeExpo, I watch anime and J,T,Kdramas, and I read mangas. Wow. NVM

6. I played tennis in high school so that I'd have gym for sixth period. I really didn't like the fact that my school didn't supply showers for the students thus by having PE sixth, you can just go home after instead of having to be at school, smellin'! I suck at tennis and I really had no interest in it.

7. When I was in the 5th grade, I let out an SBD and blamed it on the kid who couldn't speak English. So everyone believed it to be true. I couldn't hold it in and that was my only option. I know I'm a jerk. Please forgive me!

Crud, I don't know many blogs. I'm just gonna post random sites then.

I just realized i sent links to all the Japan sites I check out. HA oh wells!

Michael Keaton - Johnny Dangerously

This scene is of Michael Keaton breakin'. It's actually funny because the film is set in the 1930s and breakin' wasn't invented till the early 80s late 70s. It's very cool though. Exploitation of breakin'. Enjoy.

Kid N' Play - House Party

Now this is more like it. Hip Hop when I remembered it best. It wasn't about popping guns or the cash you got. It was about dancing, girls, and having fun. Peace, love, and Unity. But what I liked most about Hip Hop was the dance. Running Man, Roger Rabbit, Robocop, Cabbage Patch, the Smurf, MR2, Charleston, and all of em'. My signature move was the Wop. And what not a better way to show off Hip Hop in the 90's then the commercialization of it called House Party.

Here is the notorious rap battle between Kid and Play. The verses are pretty cool and are easy to comprehend. Today, you need a whole urban dictionary just to understand some things. HAHA

The infamous dance steps. I know all of you have tried it once in your lives.

Atonement

I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I mean it got nominated a few times but was it really worth watching. Well, I checked it out. Pretty good story about love. I wouldn't say a love story so to speak. Here is the synopsis. A little girl's lie destroys what a true love could have become. You're not gonna cry but you'll be angry, sad, and sympathetic.

The Orphanage

A psychological thriller about a mother searching for her missing son. Same dude that made Pan's Labyrinth. I thought the story was pretty good. Enjoy.

Tom & Jerry - Solid Serenade

My all time favorite Tom & Jerry episode by far. Gotta love it when Tom chases the girl instead of Jerry sometimes. If you are looking for the song, like I've been doing, the original is by Louis Jordan. However, the song you hear in this particular episode is by Woody Herman titled Is you Is or Is You Ain't (Ma' Baby)? Enjoy your youth.

Bgirl Moka - DS Commercial

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Here is a clip of a bgirl named Moka. She's only 9 years old and this clip is for real. Windmills are a easy and headspins are a sinch. However, it's the airflare to deadmans that are freakin unbelievable. OH and WORK SUCKS, fyi!

Juno

So here is Juno. A smart-mouthed teen confronting unplanned pregnancy. It's about love and babies. The film is very funny despite the people in the back of me,at the theater, whimpering like little dogs. I really hate those awwwwwwwws at those semi-cute moments. Jeez people, stop it! However, film is highly recommended. Soundtrack is rather bizarre but goes well with the film. HAZZAH!

The Moldy Peaches - Anyone Else but You (They don't have a music video for this song, but this is the track they used in the film.)

Nanking - The Massacre of Nanking

The Nanking Massacre, commonly known as the Rape of Nanking, was an infamous genocidal war crime committed by the Japanese military in the capital of Nanjing, after it fell to the Imperial Japanese Army on December 13, 1937. The duration of the massacre is not clearly defined, although the violence lasted well into the next six weeks, until early February 1938. continued here

-Wikepedia

Yesterday marked the 70th Anniversary of Nanjing. Today at work I was browsing around on facebook and came across a site. Curious, I clicked on the site and read a tragic tale of China's past. This is the first time I have ever heard of this story and I wanted to share with you what I have read and watched. There was a film on the site and I will post the links below. The Massacre of Nanking truly shows us how war can be gruesome and horrific. The video is not for the feign of heart. The images can be disturbing. Discretion is advised.

"Nanking" - part 1

Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7
Part 8
Part 9
Part 10

Now how are people going to deny, with hard evidence, that these atrocities never occurred. It is just sad to know that things such as this go unrecognized.

In loving memory of all the lives lost.

Lars and The Real Girl

So this past week I have watched two films. Yeah, that's a lot for a week. Okay, so the first film I watched was the Golden Compass. Honestly, the film sucked big dong. Go read the book if you haven't already. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Alright, with that being said, the second movie I watched was Lars and The Real Girl. It's a pretty cool film.

Lars has a problem with women. He has trouble touching, talking, or even looking at women. So what does he do? He gets with a plastic doll in which he thinks is real. Yeah, it's crazy. The film is pretty funny and sad and just bizarre at times. I really enjoyed it. So go peep it. Ryan Gosling, ladies! I'm not gay.

Funny thing is, I do the same crap while in the rest room. Pun not intended!
