Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist

I also picked up this netflix film a few nights ago. Two words: Bo Gus

Synopsis: A whooped guy meets shy strange girl. A few gay best friends and a drunk chick. Put them into a film that tries to hard to be indie and you get Infinite Playlist. Or should I say Shitlist. haha no seriously spend money elsewhere.

Vicky Christina Barcelona

I just got my netflix, I'm unemployed, and I'm chillin up late on a sunday night. Watch the movie, it's fantawesome!

Synopsis: Passionate painter, two American tourists, and an eccentric ex-wife. Put them in a blender and you get Vicky Christina Barcelona. Great Drama/Comedy. Or just call it a dramadey.

The Batsu Game

I know this is old but like some of us, I don't understand Japanese. This dude morizaemon, subbed this particular episode as well as other funny batsu games. Check his youtube profile when you can. There are three of them. The one at school (shown above), the one at the Inn, and the 24 hour tag. Funny and great and time consuming.

Michael Keaton - Johnny Dangerously

This scene is of Michael Keaton breakin'. It's actually funny because the film is set in the 1930s and breakin' wasn't invented till the early 80s late 70s. It's very cool though. Exploitation of breakin'. Enjoy.

Tom & Jerry - Solid Serenade

My all time favorite Tom & Jerry episode by far. Gotta love it when Tom chases the girl instead of Jerry sometimes. If you are looking for the song, like I've been doing, the original is by Louis Jordan. However, the song you hear in this particular episode is by Woody Herman titled Is you Is or Is You Ain't (Ma' Baby)? Enjoy your youth.

Sexy Beijing - Bling Bling in Beijing

I've been pretty PO'd at work lately. My job is sucking big time right now and has been for the past few weeks. However, this brought a smile to my face. I found this little gem on youtube. If you were ever curious to see what hip hop life is like in Beijing, check this out. Sufei and her friends investigate Hip Hop in the city and what Bling means to them.

Attention Please

So I woke up with a massive hangover from Halloween night's mass party extravaganza. I dressed up as one of my favorite super heroes, Batman (Adam West version). It was dope. Anyways, since I am home, I finished up Attention Please. It's a comedy drama about Misaki Yoko (Ueto Aya) becoming a flight attendant. I enjoyed it. Now for some R&R.

The Mamiya Brothers

A story about two brothers, who are each others best friend, trying to find love. It's one of those films that I can relate too. Looking for love is tough, however their friendship helps overcome those times of loneliness. The film is a bit long but it's worth it.

Samâ taimumashin burûsu

Summer Time Machine Blues is a comedy about a group of friends who are in a sci-fi club that come upon a time machine. The movie revolves around a broken AC controller. They attempt to travel back in time to fix the past but run into other problems along the way. The film is great. It asks the question that is if you travel back in time and change the past, what will happen to you in the present? It has that kind of slow indie feel to it but definitely a funny film.

Nodame Cantabile Live Action

For the past few days I have been watching, non-stop, Nodame Cantabile live action series. If you can get through the first episode, you will surely enjoy the rest. This comedy Jdrama is about Shinichi Chiaki, who is the top pianist at the Momogaoka College of Music. Even though he is excellent at both piano and violin, his true calling is to become a conductor. Chiaki knows that in order for him to be the best he has to travel overseas to learn, but because of his childhood fears of drowning and flying, he cannot do so. He then meets Nodame, Noda Megumi, who's character is very child like and free spirited. She too is an excellent pianist. Chiaki is the complete opposite of Nodame. Chiaki helps her to become clean when she is always dirty and to play the piano with proper technique. Because of this, he learns to help others as well. His passion for conducting then flourishes and he soon begins to realize what he can do in Japan. There are alot of other very cool characters you'll meet through out the drama. My favorite characters are Mine Ryūtarō, a 3rd year violinist, and Okuyama Masumi, a 4th year timpanist who is gay. The drama is very good. It's funny with a dab of romance. I highly recommend it, plus it is only 11 episodes long. In January 2008, they will also be airing a special 2 episode Nodame Cantabile. Can't wait. GYABOOO!

Fook Twins - Diane Mizota & Carrie Ann Inaba

I really don't have any reason why I'm posting this on my blog, but I really thought they were pretty bad ass in the film. Good job doing the sexploitation on the Asians. They really do look hot though. FOOK Twins Rock! Diane Mizota and Carrie Ann Inaba look great. Enjoy!

Chinese MC Hammer

All I can say is this guy is pretty dope. Regardless of how he looks, his dance skillz are pretty nice. And his mom in the background is priceless. Represent for the Chinese!

Wei Xiao Pasta / Smiling Pasta

So I was on YODC not too long ago and I happen to stumble upon a post about Cyndi Wang by Craig. I really didn't know who she was but I was curious and checked out her music video. (I too will post the music video below) Seemed like a cute song and there was dancing which is always a plus in my book. As with any guy, I think, I did a search on her name on yahoo. I find out she just recently starred in a Drama called Smiling Pasta. So I then peeped out youtube to see if it was there. Sure enough, it was there. Lately, I have been watching many dramas (Jdramas, Kdramas mostly) so I was eager to see what this drama was about. I was, however, hesitant to watch this drama because I am not very used to the language. I'm actually not a big fan of Taiwanese or Mandarin (I <3> Canto, haha I'm a fob) But the drama surprised me. It was pretty good and I really thought it was funny.

Wei Xiao Pasta is about Cheng Xiao Shi (Cyndi Wang) who is troubled by a 3-month love curse. Every relationship that she has had ended up with a break on the 3rd month. So of course, the drama starts off with her being dumped by her current boyfriend. While sadly walking home, she is bumped into by He Qun (Nicholas Teo) who is running away from the paparazzi. They fall to the ground and they end up accidentally kissing each other. The paparazzi take pictures of them and they end up on the next days post. Xiao Shi then finds out that He Qun is a pop star/idol because of the tabloids. Vincent (Di Zhi Jie), He Qun's publicist, explains to them that they need to pretend to be together so that He Qun's reputation won't be altered. Xiao Shi agrees because she doesn’t want to disappoint her very supportive family (you will see in the drama) about another failed relationship and He Qun agrees because he has to for his image. Vincent then announces to the press that Xiao Shi is in fact He Qun's fiancée. Can they pull it off?

Things start to get a bit hairy as the story unfolds. Can they keep their secret from the press? Through this ordeal, do they start developing feelings for each other? HAHA I got to say I really enjoyed this drama. People say the story is kind of like the Kdrama Full House. I have yet to see Full House but I'm sure that it has its own flare to it. I like how the two characters interact with each other. It's very amusing. Oh and the song that they play in the drama is really cool. It's called Tears from Polaris (below). *Spoiler* When you watch the drama, you will be introduced to He Qun's younger brother He Rui Zhe (Gino). They used to be in the same band but because of the death of Ah Zhe's girlfriend they no longer get along. When they were a band, they came up with a song called Tears from Polaris (their first composition which was named by Ah Zhe's girlfriend). Ah Zhe blames He Qun for his girlfriend’s death. Check out the song. I think you need to watch the actual drama first to truly appreciate the song.

This is the music video for Tears from Polaris performed by Nicholas Teo.

Here is Ai Ni performed by Cyndi Wang (This is not part of Smiling Pasta) She teaches the dance steps in this one. Very cool!

Britney NOOOOO - I Had To!

Well, umm, yeah, umm, gross. Here are shots of Britney's fire hole. It might be old news but it's new news to me. I really don't like posting topics on my blog about things that I have no interest in, but seeing this was a shocker. I had to, no choice. Okay, no more Britney posts. BTW, I loved her MTV performance when she wore the nude bikini thing. HAHA I know what your thinking, eat shit! I have my guilty pleasures too.

TOP GUN NES sucks ASS

I saw this post from YODC. I dedicate this to William Wang. He loves the movie. I dedicate this to my brother Rick and my cuz Henry who also have done the exact same thing as what the player in this video has done. We never passed the damn game. I'd die at the fueling. The plane never landed. WEAK. ENjoy!
