5 Year Old Korean Dancing Fiend!
Haha, what can I say. Work life has been hard. And I've been under the gun for a long two months. Hopefully I'll be able to post a few blogs each month if I'm lucky. Enjoy!

Aachi wa Ssipak
I recently got my hands on a Korean Anime Movie. This is my first time watching Korean animation so I was pretty excited. The film is very strange, but I'll do my best to give you just a taste of what the film is about. So basically the world has depleted all its sources of energy, besides human excrements. Basically the world is run by shit. To reward people who shit a lot, they give them an addictive Popsicles called Juicy Bars. It's like crack. Aachi and Ssipak are street hoodlums who are trying to smuggle and steal them to make profit. In this world, there are also mutants of the Popsicle who call themselves the Diaper Gang. Because of the Juicy Bars, they are unable to shit. But because their only food source is the Juicy Bars, they have to steal them. Currently, there is a big war between the Diaper Gang and the Police. With an idea from Jimmy the Freak, the leader of the gang decides to implant all these ass rings, it's like a counter to produce Juicy Bars after you shit, into a girl named Beautiful. So every time she takes a dump there are hundreds of Juicy Bars that emerge. She is a captive and is saved by Aachi and Ssipak. Once they figure out what she is capable of, they decide to become top dealers to get rich. But it isn't so easy with the Police and Diaper Gang chasing after you. Wow, I'm tired of writing. Check it out. It's pretty dope. Aeon Flux meets animation. Guns a-blazing action. HAHA Strange I know!
Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang
Korean dramas are sooooooo drama. With that being said, I just recently finished watching this series. It took me quite a while, but I'm finally done. Quick synopsis, Lee Mong-ryong is the male lead who transfers to a new school. Seong Chun Hyang is the female lead that Mong-ryong bumps into. Upon their first time meeting, they end up hating each other. But do to some circumstances, they get drunk somehow, they end up sleeping together in the same house. Nothing happens between the two however due to gossip they are forced to marry each other to avoid scandal. After, they are forced to live with one another. The two eventually start falling in love and yeah, typical drama stuff. Then with most Korean dramas, there's a love triangle, deception, a little comedy, and then back to more drama, deception, and just drama crap. I like Korean dramas and this one is pretty cool. I recommended this title, however if you have stress, don't watch. It will only cause you more stress. HAHA The OST is superb by the way. Cute series but I think Sassy Girl was better. Enjoy!

Holy Daddy - Korean Film Review
Alright, I'm back. It's been a while since I've posted anything. I blame it all on work. Damn, I've been swamped this whole month. SAWWKS!!! Oh wells, here goes the review. I watch a ton of Korean movies. I don't know how it all got started. I don't even understand the Korean language. However, what I do know is a good movie when I see one. This movie surprised me. I haven't seen any films in quite a while now, so I was very skeptical to watch this film. Maybe because of my low expectations, this movie came out the way it did for me. The film is called Holy Daddy. Seok Jo (Kim Sang Joong) is a gangster in prison. All he wants to do is see his son Won Tak (Lee Min Woo). Ironically on his last day in prison, he dies. Seok Jo is then visited by an angel who tries to take him into heaven. Before departing to heaven, Seok Jo requests one wish, to be his son's best friend. The angel agrees and gives him a second chance to right his wrongs by reincarnating Seok Jo into a teenage boy named Dong Hoon (Ha Dong Hoon).
That's as much detail as I am going to get with this film. It's a comedy and drama all rolled into one. I really enjoyed the film, especially Ha Dong Hoon’s character. He is great. Kind of annoying sometimes because he plays a character that isn’t up-to-date on technological advances.
This movie is very heartfelt and funny. I liked it a lot. Go and rent it!

See You After School
I finally got a copy of this film called See You After School. I'm actually not sure if this is the right translation of the title, but I've seen it translated this way on other sites. My friend begs to differ. He's Korean and he says my title is wrong. Anywhoo, here is the general synopsis of the film. The movie is about this guy named Goong-dahl. Nothing has gone right for him in his whole life. It starts off with him being in a clinic trying to better himself of his loser-streak! After the "reject-camp", he enrolls into high school with hopes of making a fresh start. He finds a fellow clinic patient (his friend) who is also enrolled into the school. But he looks different; his friend is cool and not a geek. He tells him his secret and that he must make a name for himself by not being a prey but as an aggressor. Goong-dahl then notices Mina, a girl that he falls for, being bullied by a bunch of punks. Thinking that this is his chance, he confronts the bullies. Of course with his luck, he ends up confronting the school’s notorious thug Jae-koo. Not knowing, Goong-dahl agrees to meet with Jae-koo on the rooftop after school for a fight. Once he realizes how much crap he has gotten himself into, Goong-dahl and his friend tries to devise a plan to save Goong-dahl’s ass.

I thought the film was real good. It made me laugh plenty of times. The main character kinda looks like the Mad Hater from Alice in Wonderland. Ha^2 But yeah, rent this film if you like high school flicks with comedy, action, bullies, “come-backs”, and all that. I know I do!

How To Keep My Love
Well, I just picked this film out of a hat. Didn't know what to watch and I had this one on stand by. I guess I didn't really want to watch any crazy dramas so I decided why not throw in a romance comedy. The film wasn't bad. I thought it was entertaining. Kinda easy to read. With a little clever guessing you pretty much know what the film is about straight from the beginning. The film is about a woman Hyun Ju (Kim, Jung Eun) who is in love with this guy she met at college. They've been going out for 7 years and she's pretty much waiting for him to pop the big question.
Her friends, who are a bunch of failures in their own way, try and help her along. Then another story unfolds. As luck would have it, So Hun (Kim, Sang Kyung), her boyfriend, gets involved with an actress in an elevator ride gone wrong. They get stuck and I guess with his charm, the starlet Da Young falls for him. Now you find Hyun Ju go through great lengths to try and fight to save their relationship by competing with this lady. And so on and so forth. I give the movie an alright, half up half down thumb blast. I don't know, I like the main character but it wasn't enough for me to be like, damn this movie was crazy good. Rent it for the romance and laughs. I'm spent!
