NaNa 2

I have been waiting to watch this film for a long ass time. I happened to have received the pleasure of watching this film 2 weeks ago. I must say it was pretty cool. I think maybe it's because I am already a fan of Mika Nakashima and the band in the film, the Black Stones aka Blast. I am sadly disappointed that they did not get back the original Hachi and instead replaced her with another actress, who I thought was pretty weak. And I am also saddened by the fact that Nana's original love interest was not casted. That guy was way cooler. Anyways, the film was good. It's the same type of story with more trials and tribulations. The story is about the two main characters falling apart from one another, one going forward with her music career and the other with her new love interest. Overall, it was a good sequel. I love Mika Nakashima. She's awesome. The OST is pretty good to, however I don't think anything can beat Glorious Sky from the first film. Peep the film for all you fans. It's worth it!

Soul Sessions @ Grandstar 9/14/2007

So this is Soul Sessions @ Grandstar. Grandstar is conveniently located in Chinatown which is about a 10-15 minute drive from my house. If you like Hip Hop, Soul, RnB, Funk, Jazz, and everything else in between, you'll definitely like this place. It's a two story joint with live jazz on the bottom and the rest on top. The place kinda has a house party feel to it. Very urban and cool. A good place to go if you want to listen to good music, chill and lounge, and to dance. Grandstar is the joint but the venue we went to is Soul Sessions. It happens every other Friday, the other Friday is something called Firecracker. It's good too. Both are good. It's chill and you can wear whatever you like which is always a plus in my book. Drunk'n Times Rule!

Tales from Earthsea

I was going to write a review about Tales from Earthsea but I won't. I'll give a few opinions here and there about the film but I will mainly try and tell what the story is about. I thought the film was okay. It's about a prince named Arren. After killing his father, he becomes a drifter who runs into an Archmage named Sparrowhawk. They soon travel to Hort town where they meet more characters, Tenar and Therru, and later fight an evil magician named Lord Cob. HAHA yeah thats my synopsis. I really didn't know what was going on. Maybe character development? Not really. There's something about dragons too in the film. HAHA jeez. What's going on. I guess, just watch and tell me what you think! I'm thinking my ability to retell the story needs work. I ended up watching the whole film so I guess it couldn't have been that bad or maybe I was so bored that I had no choice. Either way check it out. Oh, the song in the middle of the film is fantastic. You'll know when you see the young girl, with the scar on her face (Therru), singing on top of the hill.

Fook Twins - Diane Mizota & Carrie Ann Inaba

I really don't have any reason why I'm posting this on my blog, but I really thought they were pretty bad ass in the film. Good job doing the sexploitation on the Asians. They really do look hot though. FOOK Twins Rock! Diane Mizota and Carrie Ann Inaba look great. Enjoy!

Toki wo kakeru shôjo (2006)

So I've been pretty bored lately at home and I came across this Anime movie. It's called The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. It really didn't catch my attention at first but I gave the film a chance, anyways. And yeah, It's freakin awesome. The story is exactly what the title describes, she has the ability to leap back into time. The main character, Makoto Konno, decides to use her new found abilities to go back into time to change past mistakes. However, she soon finds out that some things are better left alone. A very cute story about friends with a dab of romance. I definitely recommend this flick. If I really wanted to, I would have shed a tear.
But yes, no crying in 2007. Maybe a little in 2008. So go and rent this or download it or do watever that you do to see this. It's pretty good. I think the film is also showing on the Cartoon Network. But I hate dubbed and would recommend the original dubbing with subtitles. That's just me though. Love This!

Chinese MC Hammer

All I can say is this guy is pretty dope. Regardless of how he looks, his dance skillz are pretty nice. And his mom in the background is priceless. Represent for the Chinese!

Super Chample - Breaking Battle

Damn, I've been MIA. It's Time For Some, Time For Some ACTION! I don't know what it is about these Super Chample shows that I love. Maybe because of the cool ass dancing or maybe because there's always cute ass chicks that wear skimpy outfits. I don't know, but I love it. Enjoy this breaking battle. It's FFFFresh!
